Thieves not allowed!
Well I avoided home most of the weekend since I had prior events and school related things that kept me busy for long hours. That left SO at home with mainly his 2 kids and his 10yr old ex SD who had wanted to come as well. My ds spent all day Saturday gone with me, and my dd spent Saturday and most of Sunday at her frinds house for a sleep over. SO's brood came as usual smelly and lacking socks, his sd had shoes that were falling apart. My dd kindly gave her a pair of her flip flops to keep and she said thank you, SO pointed out all the greatness of his kids when it came to chores (mine bicker and try to get out of them and they get loss of privlidges, and increased chores for it) all because his sd took out the garbage and his 6 yr old said "here I'll put a new bag in for you." Great right? Well I get home Sunday exhausted sore and just want a hot bath and quite his kids were just leaving and after they do, my son exclaims his room is trashed that SO's kids hadn't cleaned it like they were told and the coloring books and crayons he had told them to put back were strewn out still. SO told my bs to just pick it all up and I told SO "no your kids mess your responsibility. I take my bath then my dd takes a shower after she gets out she's comes and calmly asks if anyone had maybe seen SO's dd or sd with a cupcake necklace? No one had. She knew where she put it in the box it came in and closed the box she'd done so cause she didn't want to take it to her friends for the sleep over and not have a place to put it. We search anyway in case one of his kids had gotten it out and had put it somewhere. SO has already said his exsd won't be coming back till its found (if she took it she's not ever coming back) so we already know he's thinking what we are the little twit stole it. SO text BM asking her if she has it BM says she's emptied exsd bag and didn't see it but the kids are in bed and she's not waking them. My dd's feelings are so hurt that she gave her shoes and likely is the one who took her necklace it was important to her. I told SO if its not returned he will be purchasing her a new one. I won't let thieves in my house I was done with people like that 15 years ago when I threw many of my now exH's friends out of our lives. Kid or not a theif is a thief.
