Car in the shop
Ok, so my husband was supposed to pick my step-son up this evening for visitation. Their pick up and drop off has to take place at our local police department because his ex wife said that we were following her around the city we live in even though she lives three blocks away from our house. We all(my husband, our other three children and myself) packed up in the minivan to go shopping for Easter this weekend. We were sitting at the police station waiting for them to arrive when all of the sudden, my husband receives a text message (five minutes after we were supposed to pick my step-son up) from his ex wife stating that her vehicle was being repaired in the shop and that she wouldn't be able to walk to the police station which is between her house and ours because of a major thunder and lightning storm that was taking place at the time. We went home to correspond to her via email because she told us that was the only way we were to communicate to her even though she tries to communicate with us through email, phone, and text messaging. When my husband sent her a request for her permission for us to pick my step-son up from her house directly, she sends him another text message stating that the rain had slowed down and that they were on their way to the police station. Once again, all five of us pack into our minivan and make our way back to the police station. We didn't end up getting my step son for visitation until a half an hour after our visitation and we still had to have him back to go back to his mom and walk home in the rain the normal drop off time. We lost a half an hour with my stepson that day and we also lost a half an hour of time we could have spent easter shopping. My stepson was frustrated and upset the entire evening about the situation. we had to keep telling him that everything was ok and not to worry. He said he didn't understand why we couldn't have just picked him up from his moms house.

Just typical behavior on her
Just typical behavior on her part. Not to mention all of the lies.
