No skids this weekend. No surprise there!

BM was laying on the honey sweetness when she was asking for some CS upfront, she was being so nice.

Now, after DH told her "No", she decided on Thur that SD is no longer coming because she's giving SD a belated BD present of going to a sleepover at a friend's house this weekend.

And she said we have to pick up SS "if we want him" since SD isn't coming (BM usually drops them on Fri and we drop them back on Sun.

Well DH asked to pick up SS on Sat morning instead of tonight, and she said that if he can't reach to pick up SS at exactly 6.30pm today then don't bother coming at all, she will keep him for the weekend. AND, of course she must mention that he's going to be going to work with her live-in boyfriend on Sat.

SKID FREE WEEKEND!

UPDATE: BM tried getting in touch with DH today (Sat) for him to pick up SS! Ha!

Well, DH's phone was off, and she called my phone too. I have NEVER spoken to her on my phone btw. Well, DH and I were busy and we did not see the missed call until about 6 hrs later. DH had now woken up and he called her back because she hadn't left a message. She wanted to know if he wanted to come get SS. Ha ha! After the stupidity she pulled the day before, no way were we dropping all our plans to run and pick up SS at her whim! We're enjoying our weekend.

I guess she really thought DH would drop everything to get there at the time she dictated. SS was interrupting her regular weekend free, boo hoo.

I have not felt this good in ages! It's good to get a break sometimes!
