So angry right now.
I am new at this and I usually don't say much. I am a little bit afraid to say anything because you never know, but I am so angry that I need to vent. The darling skids are coming this weekend. Yay me! SD17 who runs around telling everyone that she hates me asked dh if she could use my car. My car! Not his car. He thinks this is perfectly fine, because she is the kid and I am the adult. I should just ignore the fact that she disrespects me constantly in my own home to the point where I don't even want to be there, that she tries to take control of my home and my dh when I am not there. Now we are arguing and the weekend will be worse than it is already. Maybe I just need to keep my mouth shut and say "sure she can use my car and I will sit at home and just take it up the a@$! I am so mad, I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

I'd just be gone in MY car!
I'd just be gone in MY car! My phone would be off too. Unless dh sends a nice vm or text saying he is sorry! I would also have to stay gone til that apology comes.
HELL NO would I let her have my car!
Vent away... but I wouldn't
Vent away... but I wouldn't give in. SO asked a few weeks ago if SD could practice driving in mine. I said no. If it comes up again, well she's not on our insurance so not taking a chance.
Oh I need to go somewhere

I would be gone all day. No
I would be gone all day. No way in hell an ungrateful disrespectful step is using my vehicle. Do not give in on this. It will be the start of many at that age.
and why can't she borrow her
and why can't she borrow her father's car?????
Well she didn't get the car
Well she didn't get the car and hopefully never will. She is not covered under our insurance and is not a real good driver. I have taken her driving and she scares the hell out of me. (probably on purpose) She won't drive dh's vehicle because it is a truck and is too big for her. The worst part is she asked him if she could use my car. She didn't even bother to ask me. It's like I don't even exist. He told me during our argument tonight that she was there long before I was. I am really sick of hearing that. If it was so great with them, then why didn't he stay with them? He left them long before we even met, but he seems to rub it in my face. Then he kisses my butt for hours after we have an argument. The thing is that is the only time we argue or say mean things to eachother. Things are usually great when they are gone. We have two bs's together and are a happy family, well except for eow. Thanks for all your comments. I am glad to know I am not in this alone.
OMG! What a crappy thing to
OMG! What a crappy thing to say. "she was there long before I was."
You know what then, I guess she'll be the only one there long after me too.
Simple solution: hide your
Simple solution: hide your damn keys!! Every set. Then it won't matter if she asks him, she can't drive a car without keys!
But then when they ask YOU where they are you'll have the satisfaction of saying NO EFFIN WAY!!!
LOL... my husband made a
LOL... my husband made a comment this weekend (we just have both purchased new vehicles) "well this truck will be the kids when they get older, and you can give them your car too" I laughed and laughed, I was "There is in no way that a child will ever drive a vehicle of mine, regardless of it is older or not, it is mine." I have noticed that since I have become a stepparent, I have become increasingly protective of what is mine... I guess it is the feeling of loss of control about what happends in my life, that I will control the little that I can. Sad.
i will gladly turn over the
i will gladly turn over the keys to my car to sd if it means 1.dh doesn't have to pick her behind up anymore and deal with bm.2.i get a new car.
