BM Mediation.... A Joke!!!
Ok, so BM schedules mediation last month since she is not allowed to see her kids. BF gets word of it the day of! So he gets dressed real quick, calls into work and goes to mediation.
BM does not show up.
Her lawyer gets 1 text message, "going to hospital"
Ok, so now BF has to pay his lawyer and the mediator for this time. BM has her own lawyer to worry about.
So she schedules ANOTHER mediation because BF still did not give in to letting her see her kids when she wanted to. (Remember, she is a drug addict and had her kids taken away from her, then dropped out of the drug court program and went to jail!)
BF goes to mediation. BM tells everyone what she wants and refuses to budge. Uh, is that mediation? I don't think so. Even the mediator said, "you are the addict, you are the one that has to jump through hoops" She just cried... poor BM can't see her kids and be a bad influence.
Well, she got some visitation, 2 days a week, 3 hours at a time, supervised.

Do they drug test her to make sure she isn't on anything when she sees the kids?
BF has asked multiple times
BF has asked multiple times for just a letter from her "program" stating that she is in one. No, she is not being tested as far as I know.
She keeps saying she is in a program. BF does not believe her. On going cycle
My DH went to mediation with
My DH went to mediation with BM one time. He had issues regarding SDs lastname, visitation or the lack there of and custody. He went to mediation, BM actually showed up, the mediator asked what the issue was, DH told him he had several. DH expressed his concerns and wants. BM freaked out, started bawling and told everyone that they were against her. BM then calmed down and told the mediator that these were not issues and the mediator agreed and tried to push DHs concerns to the side. The mediator just wanted someone to agree and be done with it.
So, I understand your frustration. Like the above poster mentioned is BM being tested?

Luckily, it does seem that our mediator does care somewhat about what is going on. There is also a guardian-adletim (lawyer for the kids) there as well. Separate from parents lawyers.
Neither lawyer was being a push over either.... LOL even greater, her own lawyer said she had to give a little!
What a loser....
