I  spent the afternoon and early evening in Marseille watching the Olympic flame arrive in France by sea, absolutely incredible! The atmosphere was electric! I particularly appreciated the fact that the second relayer was a para-olympic champion.

We had fabulous sunshine all day ( the tv journalists were all cherry red by the evening), the cameras were all turned seawards all day (deliberate) so nobody saw the storm arrive ( the sky was indigo to the north). The weather changes fast in the Med. It's been a long day.
