So today is my birthday. SO built me a beautiful light for the kitchen. Farmhouse theme like the rest of our house. I asked for the light for my birthday...  that's how you know your getting old haha. 

Anyways, had to run around this morning return some stuff, pick SS16 and SD13 up at school, drop SO's car off to get new tires, went out to eat quick(had to be back by 6:30 because SS16 had his last class of driving school to finish) SS17 had to work (3-8) and was off from school.

Now, SS17 had a few times to wish me a happy birthday. When he got up, when we brought him to work, when he got home... but... nothing. 

Here is where I am annoyed. SO picks him up and plans on doing cake when he gets back. We get the same ice cream cake for everyone's birthday because it's our favorite. So... they get home, I am upstairs with SD, SS17 is (for whatever) being loud talking about whatever, SO calls me and SD downstairs for cake. SS16 was in the basement so I just say to SO to cut the cake no big deal I really don't need to be sung too lol. So he does...

SS17 starts rambling about him watching the "regular show" on Hulu. Saying how is favorite character is "muscle man." Then he starts quoting "muscle man" which everything ends with "YOUR MOM." About 5 times he quoted the character. He was yelling it almost in SDs face. She just ignored him and I was standing eating my cake.  I couldn't finish fast enough so I could leave the room. 

I really struggle being in the same room as him. 

SO and I are spending the night away tomorrow. Can't wait! Sleep in with silence.
