YSS stb16 Went to Summer School
after all. Missed 3 days of it... unexcused absence. Baaarely passed English (65 which is a D-/ 64 would be fail)
Uber bombed in do over Algebra. Got a 47. Chef threw down the report in disgust.
In other news, talked to the primo attorney that was recommended. She basically said to prove CEBC in NYS is an uphill climb at best...even with all my documentation showing refusal of mail, etc. And she said it wouldn't end CS for YSS because he is under 18. If he had been born 2 yrs sooner we could have conceivably give CS the heave ho altogether and it would be worth the legal expense. She recommended just waiting until SD ages out at 21 (November 2019) at that point if the Gir tries to use college as an excuse to extend CS to 24, we can submit our documentation showing SD is a dropout. ( Sigh)

What is wrong with New York?!
What is wrong with New York?! CS should end at 18 PERIOD unless parents agree upon college arrangements.
yet
"adults" can vote at 18 even though the BMs are receiving "child" support payments. We're 99% sure SD stb 20 dropped out of remedial grade school community college. Both she and YSSstb 16 will be BM basement dwellers into their thirties at least unless SD finds some unsuspecting patsy to bleed CS from and discovers welfare like her cousins.
I'd laugh but I know you're
I'd laugh but I know you're serious.. The cycle will only continue, unfortunately.
This is so freaking insane!!
This is so freaking insane!!
OMG- why do kids ALWAYS pass
OMG- why do kids ALWAYS pass summer school classes with exactly a 65? I'll tell you why- so the school can push them through, move them along, be rid of them.
OSS went to summer school every year from sixth grade on for at least two of his core classes- always, ALWAYS passed every class with EXACTLY a 65. No effort involved at all- just had to show up most days.
NY state is so, so sad.
