Thank God for Step Talk. I tried venting to a friend yesterday, she didn't land blast me, but didn't seem to understand. She kept saying it's because he's 15. Yeah.....NO!!!

I darn sure didn't share with her that I have disengaged. If it weren't for ST I probably would scream.

I know; without ST, I would not have the direction and thought process that I have.

ST is the only place I could find others who understand and can relate to my situation. Even your closest relatives, who might try, can not know the emotional stress, the push and pull living in this daily dynamic creates. Here, you find people actually walk similarly in your shoes, and, it does feel great to know you are not alone, you just have normal problems that few understand. ST provides you with people who do understand, who feel your pain on a regular basis too.
