A couple years ago I told DH I wanted a pearl necklace for our anniversary. He got really excited and said he always liked pearls so I asked why he had never bought me any (DH has really good taste in jewelry). He told me about how he had bought BM an expensive pearl necklace once and she got really mad at him because it wasn't flashy enough for her and she returned it to the store and got herself something else. Stupid woman! Anyway that year he bought me a beautiful pearl necklace for our anniversary and a pearl bracelet for my birthday.

At lunch he came home today and told me we were going to the jewelry store so I could get pearl earnings to match my necklace and bracelet! He said there were too many for him to chose and wanted to see me in them first! I got to go pick out a very pretty set of pearl and diamond earrings for Valentines day! I'm so lucky to have an awesome husband!

Maybe I should think BM for being so trashy it sure makes DH happy whenever I get excited over jewelry he gets me now!

I have ZZ Top in my head now, thanks! And how funny, but they just came on the radio (different song, though).

DH got me a pearl necklace to mark our first 6 months together. He got some very beautiful ones.

I wore them for our wedding.

Sigh!!! Wish I could plaster hearts all over this post. Love the pearls!

we are in the same boat..... SO is not allowed to buy me jewellery.... cause he will take Aergia with him and she will get what she wants.... SO simply says.. woman know what to pick for other woman... oh hell NO...

SO is also not allowed to buy perfume.... something wrong with his nose I swear... now if I want perfume I say, this is what I want... and I give him the empty box to make sure he does not stuff it up

Oh, my. DH knows if he took SD17 to jewelry shop for me he would not live till morning.

Danielle, send your Victorian jewelry to me! I will love every piece!

BTW, DH surprised me last night with a fabulous ametrine necklace. It's a gemstone I just recently discovered and lo and behold he noticed. It is naturally occurring amethyst and citrine together so the stone is half yellow/half purple. My dh has great taste in jewelry! Or shall I say we have similar taste even if no one else agrees we have any taste between us!
