The packers showed up at 0900 on Monday and drove off with our stuff at 2130. DW has had a few days to settle and though I am still in the dog house my life is no longer imminent danger.

Just give the girl a spa voucher for a pampering session , or a foot rub with nothing attached to it and you are on top of the list again, out of the dog house...

Thanks for the advice. Those are actually on my regular doghouse recovery strategy list. They usuallyu work well.
