He told The Albatross NO....TWICE!!! Woohooo1
BF told me that The Albatross called him yesterday and asked if he could take SS14 to dental appt on Monday (her week). She said she had a conflict with school. He told her “No, it was closing week for him and he wouldn’t be able to fit it in.” He then told me that she called back later and said she switched the appt to Tues and she would handle it. At first, I thought he was telling me this to “praise her” and I asked him “so what, am I supposed to do…the cookie dance for her???” He said “No, for ME because I told her NO.” Ohhhhhhhhhhh! OMG you sure did! I’m so proud of you! (I’m so used to it always being about her that I didn’t even get the gist of what he was saying, LOL.)
And then, just to further rock my world, he tells me that she ALSO called yet another time yesterday and asked if SS11 could just spend the night with us tonight (exchange day for her week) since he has baseball skills assessment in the morning and SS14 has a basketball game and could he take SS11 to the skills assessment and she would take SS14 to bball game. BF told her “No, SS11’s skills assessment will be from 9:30-10:30 and SS14 bball game isn’t until 11:15. You have plenty of time to handle both.” I’m so proud of him!!! (And yes, it was shown just how proud I am!)
The not so funny part is that I actually have to be at the SAME skills assessment in the morning. I’m taking my nephew b/c my sister works nights. And he’s the same age as SS11. But at least I will be able to smile at The Albatross knowing that she couldn’t manipulate BF into taking SS11 so she could sleep a little longer on Saturday morning.
And just as a side note because I’m really excited, BF and I are having a poker party tonight! I’m ready to go!!!!! Happy Friday everyone!!!
I'm happy he is starting to
I'm happy he is starting to see more clearly, for your sanity. Keep it up!
There is no personalization
There is no personalization or customization with a vast majority of the guidelines for baseball pitching. They don’t call Barry Lovelace the “King of Core” because it sounds good. Often advice will be given relating to one particular aspect of the motion. Baseball coaches, parents and players of all ages are always pondering these types of baseball questions. It was a match made in heaven, or for people that face them, south of heaven –Eri Yoshida to got to meet Tim Wakefield. The two baseball pitchers share something very rare in common, in that they both dabble in the dark art of throwing the knuckleball, one of the most notorious pitches in baseball to throw, and more importantly hit. (Anyone who can figure out how to hit it reliably will never need payday loans again.) The pitch is exceedingly rare. Yoshida pitches in a Japanese independent league, and Wakefield is still in the Red Sox bullpen, one of only 3 MLB pitchers able to throw it, though Yoshida is even rarer in that she throws hers sidearm.
Once upon a midnight dreary,
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'
What? My comment made as much sense as this one!
Personally, I was ok with
Personally, I was ok with that post because the picture was so stinking funny.
