Uggg....more and more drama

Last April SS 17 along with BS 12, 11 and 9 got rabbits to show at the county fair. BM knew he was doing this and was ok with it. The fair is in TWO weeks and she has now laid on us that she has planned a family campout for that weekend and she wants him there. Soo.....MONTHS of work is in jeopardy..if he is not at the auction to sell his rabbits IIIII lose out on the $100+ invested in the project and he does not get any profit from selling it. Trying to reason with her has proven fruitless.. she is a piece of work!! She then suggested that If we want him to be there we can go get him for it..1 1/2 hour drive.....ugggggg WHY!!!!!

Does he have his license? Can he drive from the campground to the fair and back?

If not, DH needs to gently remind BM that she agree to SS participating in the fair and that he needs to be there. Offer to meet her halfway to the camp after the fair if you want to be generous.

If SS ends up not going, can one of the other boys not sell the rabbits? I know zero about selling rabbits at a fair!

She is being shitty and it is the kid that suffers, just go get him, you are doing it for the kid and yourselves, if you wait for her to play nice all of you will miss out because she won't!

Yup this! I feel the same way as most I'm sure where BM pulls this shit ALL the time and you want nothing more then to not give her one second of your time going when she won't bend on anything. But in the end the only ones who suffer are your family and SS.

It sucks but just know that by getting him you are showing that his needs are met by your family.
