still tied to Ex wife

SDstb19 broke her phone the other wk. SO pays the bill but refused to repair it. This is the 3rd time within a year. The contract is in BM name and therefore SO and SD cant do anything without BM present. Yesterday SD and BM went to change contract into SD name and repair phone.
SD gets home and tells SO payment has gone up! And BM is still owner of contract.

I am livid! SO wasnt happy but has done nothing about it. They have been divorced 3years.personally i would stop the payment and tell SD she needs to get BM to pay for it. SO wont do that as the only one that suffers is SD!!!!!

DHs divorce papers say he is responsible for up to $200/month for BM cell phone until the skids age out. She goes thru phones like crazy and always has the latest/greatest, while I get the cheapest possible and keep it 2+ years.

SD is old enough to pay her own phone bill. If your husband's name isn't linked to the contract in any way, why would he feel obligated to pay for it? Let BM and SD figure it out.
