Oh joy. The things you learn when running errands with your SD17. BM and Stepdad are now separated but not legally. He is living in another state while BM keeps the house here in our state. She is only participating in "activities" when the younger two boys are visiting their Dad. SD17 was mad at first because technically it is having an affair but she also thinks that her BM deserves someone to make her happy at least once a month.

I was very good about not showing disgust or surprise at this announcement. My big question is what kind of mother tells her 17 year old that she is sleeping with the farmer across the street? How does that even come up in conversation?

BM is once again going to miss SD17 dance recital in which she was asked to do a solo performance. BM is also not sure that she can make it to graduation because it is a 12 on a Wednesday and she has to work at the store. SD17 is not a priority to her even when she is freaking graduating from high school.

One more week and this kid turns 18 and I am hoping my brain switches to not caring anymore what that women does.
