We had a great time this weekend so far, even though I am laid up with my back since, I just had surgery 3 weeks ago

FH husband asked me during the week, If I would mind if he had friends and kids, over for the weekend. I told him, I didn't mind. but he would be the host, since I'm laidup.

Anyway we had 4 of his college buddies here last night and their girlsfriends & wives. And the Adult step kids, and their families, came by too... 22 people total.
FH had a BBQ, yesterday, ribs, steaks, chicken,burgers, hotdogs, salads, and some appetizers. Everyone brought something, as they knew I couldn't play hostess and, FH suppied the meat & booze, drinks etc and some special things he made froday night.
I was comfortable. I lounged most of the day, watching and Enjoying the ladies, children, step kids, and the guys watched TV, went and played golf for a long while.. and talked politics of course lol.
Food was outstanding, FH waited on me hand & foot,making sure I was feeling ok etc. The two with children (grands) left earlier to go to BM's. The other guests stayed until late. And to my surprize 2 of the SD's were extremely helpful and cleaned up the mess, with some female guests.

Anyway today the Steps are all arriving soon. Two spent the weekend at our house, and the others ( with grands) stayed with their BM's a hour away.
This is a family thing for Super bowl each year. They are all sports nuts, even the daughters. So everyone is psyched up waiting for the game and they have bets going LOL
So today will all watch together and enjoy the food( mexican, wings, salads etc) FH is in the kitchen with two of his kids cooking away LOL..Their laughing etc so I guess all is good.
Evryone has been nice to me even "ring Leader" I know FH had a talk with her, when they arrived. I saw him out by the pool alone talking to her. He hasn't mentioned anything about the conversation, so I guess what ever he said,worked for now.
We're also expecting a few neighbors to pop in, A few I met....
once, the others just a couple of times. And a fe not at all..This should be interesting.
So while all of them are busy, I get to play online.
