How do you find a resonable but yet good Attorney. How do you know if they will actually fight for what you want? We hired this Female attorney at the end of January and yet nothing is done! Three weeks ago she said she would start a modification and would call the next week never did! So what do we do?

Hi, yes paid a retainer of 500 dollars. Did not sign nothing though just agreed on the amount to start. Litterly we would either call, text or email at least 2 times a week and no answer!!!! The last email we sent said either you contact us or pay us the retainer back so she called he signed papers to start a modification and and possibile contempt and said she would call 2 days later well its been 3 weeks now and Imagen no call and wont answer back!

I'm sorry you are going through this. I have been having the same issue with our attorney for some months now. I have gone as far as to go to his office everyday until something gets done. I know it's a huge hassle.
I wonder if it has something to do with the court though, Sometimes a modification can take a short while to file. That doesn't mean he shouldn't call you back when he says he will though.
Contact your state bar
Contact your state bar association and file a complaint. That's what I would do.
Who is actually trying to
Who is actually trying to contact the attorney? It is possible that she considers SO her client, not OP. So if OP is the one trying to make contact, she's not going to get a response.
