Anyone at work today?
We normally get Christmas Eve and Christmas day off, but this year they gave us a choice of having off Christmas Eve or the Friday after Christmas.
I think everyone went with being off on Friday. The down side is that everyone else is closed today so we are super slow. I am soooo bored. I could probably clean up my office and catch up on filing and some reports. But I just can't make myself do it.
So is anyone making anything special for tonights festivities? I am making Enchilada Dip. It is so good!

I'm with you in the no motivation area. It is so quiet and I suppose I could clean my desk and straighten out files but no...I'm here on ST instead.

Blah I am here and I have to work all day. If I don't I won't get paid for the christmas holiday. I would be okay if I could work friday or at least 1/2 day. I'm beyond bored. I'm not taking a lunch so I can leave early.
Layer the following and heat
Layer the following and heat til cheese is melted.
1 can of refried bean with 1/2 packet of taco season mixed in.
1 and 1/2lb of cooked ground meat that is mixed with the other half packet of taco season and 2 cups of red enchilada sauce.
Top with 2 cups cheese. Heat til cheese is melted.
Top with any topping you like and serve with tortilla chips. mmm mmm good.

I'm here but I am PISSED that I am. The entire shop is closed but my asshole bosses thought it would be nice to have me and the receptionist come in just for kicks.
The phones haven't rung ALL day. I have to cook dinner for 20 people tonight and I am here instead of home prepping.
Thankfully I did a lot of prep last night so I should be ok if I get out of here in the next hour or so.

I'm here... well working from home today. We usually get to leave around 1 but the boss is off today and never gave us the official "okay to leave at 1" email. So I'm like :? what should I do??? Ugh. Of course my co worker is like I'm not going to leave early.... So I feel like I have to stay.

I'm actually off work for 19 days....... Go ahead, hate on me! I haven't taken any time off yet this year and need to use some time.
I did, however, work every holiday for many many years, so I feel the pain of those working. I hope your days go quickly and smoothly!
I worked a little over 4
I worked a little over 4 hours, then came home. Probably should of just stayed. DH hasn't even noticed I came home. Skids are here. Blah. Off Friday. I worked the day after Thanksgiving in exchange. Wasn't thinking straight. Skids will be here until Saturday so I should of worked Friday and took a different day.

I'm in the same boat as you, working today so I get a 4 day weekend. Honestly, this whole week has been a waste of time. Sooooo sloooooowww.
