Ah, this is what happens when a BM doesn't want the Bio-Father involved as she wants to be her daughter's friend...and allows the daughter to lie to her father, to have little if any contact, etc...

Yes, this is the 15yr old that's in 8th grade...the one that my DH went to school a couple of weeks ago to find out what is going on since the BM will give him zero info...the one who has tons of unexcused absences...that when she saw DH gave him all kinds of bs, of course, no daddy, I'm not doing that, oh daddy I will show up for school, oh daddy I will turn in my school work...blah, blah...and when DH tried to contact her to see if she had turned in 3 assignments that she had not, BM lied and told him she was not home...and never had her call her dad back...so now, there you go...

What sucks is that if it were me, my parents would've stopped most support, especially if I was failing...but of course, with CS, kids can do whatever they want, and continue to collect money in the form on CS...

I haven't told DH about this latest posting yet...he might have a cow...and honestly, he's worn out from trying to help this crazy kid and the pathetic mother who want no help...they just want his money...

Oh yeah, Merry Christmas...sigh...

Has anyone had child support successfully stopped because of pregnancy, failure in school, not showing up for school, etc...before the age of 18 in Texas? If so, please let me know so that I can give the info to DH to keep handy for "WHEN IT HAPPENS"...
