We got SD8 from her mom's today. She duly informed us that her stepdad over there put a new punishment into play. He tended to be kinda over the top, so this was good. He created a naughty chair. Good idea. Then she asked us, "How do you spell Naughty?" With eyebrow raised I spelled it out n-a-u-g-h-t-y. Why? She smirked. "I thought that was wrong." I asked how he spelled it, thinking maybe he'd used knotty as a joke or something, you know wood chair yuk yuk yuk, funny? No. "He spelled it N-o-t-t-e." Hm. Well, I think the idea is great, I just find it highly amusing that a 30-some year old man can't spell naughty and an 8 year old girl could.
