I have BIG COURT case come up next week. I don't tell my kids about court. It's stressful enough for adults, why burden the kids? It's not appropriate. Even if they see me ironing, I say I have a meeting. Well step kids came. Bio mom says she's going to MY COURT CASE!!!! I had no words. Emailed attorney. It's an open court room. She can be there. You have got to be kidding me? Sad I'm so entirely sick of this shit. This is what I say when I write that our exes talk & try to make our lives hell. Attorney said she will ask to have her removed, but also don't be surprised if she is not. What a bitch.

Darlin, don't involve the kids if they're minors but if they're adults let them know. Do you have family and friends that can come and support you? If so, try to get them to come. You need all the support you can get.

Wow, BM sounds about a crazy as the one I am dealing with. I really don't understand why BMs pull crap like this. I can't imagine actually taking the time to go to a court case that I am not involved in. Who actually wants to go to court just for the fun of it? I would just keep your head up. If she is there, I would ignore her completely. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing you have a reaction.

You don't need that, what with everything else. Can't you tell them that you have recently been very poorly, you can't handle the extra stress of her being there etc etc? This is beyond unreasonable. I would love to come over there (from the UK!) with my cast iron frying pan and BASH her one upside the head.
