The funniest thing I've ever heard.
MY MIL text my husband. It started out something "she said..." He shut her down. He accidentally deleted the message & told her this. But told her not to resend, anyways she doesn't reply for several days. Then she says, please tell me how to forward this to you, you need to read my message. (Oh god, he does... Cause she's so damn important) So he walks her thru a series of steps that erases ALL of their texts from her PHONE. & says that should send him what he needs from her. She replies "the messages are blank! They're gone???" All upset. She doesn't realize it was intentional. 24 hours pass. No crap. "Can you please send me all of the texts you have of our conversations over the past year on your phone. I'd really appreciate it. Mine are all gone." He replies "Who is this?" She replies "Mom" Him: "Oh, I only keep important messages in my phone."
Dear lord we were laughing so hard!!! Messages for a year???? Seriously??? Ugh get over yourself of woman! Haha. So she can sit & obsess on them & beat us over the head with them? Next time I see her I'm going to tell her I know how to get the messages back & restore the phone to factory settings & do the entire family a big f'n favor. You are welcome universe!!!! Haha. Oh man. I'm sorry. I didn't know. Bwahaha.

I'm very proud of him. He's not always had good boundaries with her... Or bio mom for that matter. But I think in the 4 years of us being together he's gotten WAY better & since me getting sick he's gotten leaps & bounds better. (I had ischemic stroke 1/16 from stress)
