Why can't BM step up to the plate to take her daughter to her stupid homecoming game??? I was excited at work because FSD was taking her ass home tonight only to have her return because BM can't take her to the football game. Why can't she take her? Cuz she simply doesn't want to. So now my Friday night free with my FDH is ruined cuz he is taking her to the game. The Fridays we get her he always takes her to the games. On top of that we get to spend the obnoxious amount if money on tickets and junk good at the game..... Ugh! Completely pissed off .

DH is dropping ss16 off at the game and coming home. I have pot pies in the oven and salad fixed and dessert and we are having a quiet couple of hours. BUT I hear ya on the BM not stepping up so DH always feels obligated to pick up the pieces. Our bm simply is not there for ss16. She promised ss19 last year for homecoming to be there to walk onto the field with him and receive his rose and she showed up late. Ss19 was so pissed and hurt and DH said well that's what you get for asking her to walk with you, you should have asked me or grandma or even steelrose would have walked with you, but your mom would rather get drunk first.

I asked if he could just drop her off, but he said he didn't feel comfortable with that. But that's exactly it Steelrose BM says no and FDH feels obligated to take her so she doesn't miss out on anything. So very annoying! Just heard that we are stuck taking her to her mandatory practice on Sunday too on BM's weekend..... Weekend ruined
