330 am wake up call from the sheriffs department...
I am not a morning person.
It is bad enough when my alarm goes off at 5am. Being awakened at 3:30am by a deputy calling stating “you need to come pick up your daughter” does not make for a promising start to the day.
Long story made short. Daughter’s good-for-nothing-worthless-waste-of-flesh-and-air boyfriend got drunk last night. As in belligerent, obnoxious, wanting to fight someone wasted. Daughter and boyfriends brother were attempting to wrangle him into a car to get his pickled posterior home when he shoved my daughter and said something to her that was “Horrible, vile and filthy”. Whatever he said must be bad, because she flat will not repeat it to me.
My DD’s response was apparently a right hook to his jaw followed by a foot planted in his nuts. When I spoke with the Deputy dealing with the darling couple he advised me when he pulled onto the scene the boyfriend was on his knees in the middle of the street, my daughter had him in a head lock and was apparently reciting for him (at max volume) exactly the who, what, where, when and why of how he had f*cked up.
My DD is 22. However she looks like a young teenager, thus the cops thought her ID was a fake and demanded a parent pick her up. I show up, with her birth certificate (so they would realize the ID is legit and not confiscate it, resulting in hours spent at the DMV to have it replaced) and they did apologize for not believing her and waking me up. End result, I take my kid home, boyfriend is in the drunk tank and his car got towed.
I did ream my DD out. She knows better than to get physical. She had the money to call a cab, knew she could have called me for a ride and let drunky get pulled over for a dui since he was being an a$$. She got darn lucky the cops didn’t cite her for battery.
Then I got to go to work.
There is just not enough coffee in the world today.

when you say DD, this is your
when you say DD, this is your biokid or your stepkid? Either way, that does suck. I'm worried for my SD7. She is very physical too. She already ran in the house saying she got choked out by some boy because they were "wrestling" on a trampoline. I asked "wtf are you doing wrestling people? let alone boys! Stop putting your hands on people!"
she already got in trouble for touching some girl inappropriately in the bathroom. UGHHHHH
I don't trust her anymore to take baths with my BD2
Oh this is my bio daughter.
Oh this is my bio daughter. If it was one of the skids I would have let DH pick the kid up.
You have to at least look on
You have to at least look on the bright side, that you DD kicked the douche in the nuts for disrespecting her! I would be a little proud (on the inside of course). }:)
this is true. Better she be
this is true. Better she be the aggressor than the victim.
Yeah there is a small part of
Yeah there is a small part of me laughing about her kicking his butt. However, the thought of had those cops not been nice, she would be sitting in jail tempers that.
And I say sitting in jail because I would NOT bail her out.
^^^^^^^^^this^^^^^^^^^^^ Yeah

Yeah, I'd be pissed about the 330 am call but damn proud of her for standing up for herself and not taking that shit from him!
Lets hope the douche BF
Lets hope the douche BF remembers why his nuts hurt the next day. I don't condone the physical fighting but a "good swift reaction" to the filth spewing from his mouth is worth it. Anything more is trouble. I hope she leaves this one alone now and moves on.
Me too. Problem is the girl
Me too. Problem is the girl has a thing for broken people and wanting to fix them. And this guy is definitly broken. She just hasnt figured out she cant fix him. He does not want to be fixed he wants to be enabled.

The police were likely thankful for her efforts...she stopped a drunk from perhaps driving and taking out another car full of innocent bystanders. Maybe the police had a vid on their dash and can replay for all DUI classes what happens when drunks not only try to drive but get mouthy .
If they have video I want a
If they have video I want a copy!
I give props to your DD, but
I give props to your DD, but understand the seriousness. Tell her men are often like old houses. You can move in and redecorate but if the foundation is cracked forget about it.
Please make sure she knows
Please make sure she knows how dangerous an out-of-control drunk can be. She could have gotten really hurt.
