So I will preface this with the fact that the hormones have made me lose my sense of humor to a large extent, at least on certain days.

So when DH saw me shaking my head the other day, he asked what was up
Me: people are just crazy, seriously, batshit crazy
DH: now what?
Me: apparently divorce isn't enough of an indication for some people to get that their SO doesn't want to be part of their life anymore
DH: okie...

So I told him about the ex that called someone's DH to come open the pickle jar. DH just looks at me for a few seconds.

DH: Well, how far away does the ex live?

I just stared at him. I must have started to look apoplectic because he then bursts out laughing, telling me he was just kidding (and yes,I believe he really was kidding). Congrats DH, you have finally succeeded in deadpan humor, I applaud you.
