Ok so my ss15 lives in another state and I have been with his dad 4 yrs. I have 4 bios 22,20,14,11. And my oldest is married and I have a wonderful DIL. DH has two, mySD 21 and Ss 20 by first marriage, and my Ss 14(will be 15 next week) by second ex. First ex I have never spoken to. Mutual choice since they had a horrible marriage and divorce and are not on great terms even today. I get along great with those skids. The other Ss is more like only child since he is only child of bm. And me and Ss got along until this past year when he started acting out more since I won't let him treat his dad like an ATM or doormat. I have only met one Bil and sil and only met dh parents twice. It's not that we don't want to know each other, it's just really hard being 4 states apart. Ss14 and his mom live in same city as in laws. I constantly see pics if his ex in family functions and don't understand why it bothers me so much. I feel more like the ex than her. And it's almost like Ss enjoys it being rubbed in my face when he tags US in these pics. I don't dislike bm. I just have disengaged for the past year from Ss until his behavior improves when he's here. Just needed to vent this out somewhere cause its getting old seeing her in every family pic of people that isn't her family anymore... What's worse is he's coming next week here for the summer and I'm just not wanting him around right now. These kinds if pics make it harder to even want to have him here.
