Haven't posted in a while so I thought I would since something funny has/has been happeneing. We broke the news to FMIL about the pregnancy and all of a sudden instead of waring with FDH and I, she's trying to be respectful and nice. She's even sent me food. It's so stupid. I wonder if she realized that she can't go around FDH when this kid is born to try to see him/her. To top it off, she actually had the nerve to ask if SHE can attend the first doctors appt FDH and I have on Monday. This is the same lady who flipped out on her daughter (FSIL who is 5 mo preg) because FSIL was considering allow her MIL to go to the appt. FMIL went on and on to me about how inappropriate it was the FSIL's MIL was even asking to go to the appt and how disappointed she was that FSIL was considering it. I dont get the double standard. We have to see her on Saturday because it's her birthday and FDH said he's excited to bring it up to his mom and ask her why she thinks it's okay for her to come to our appt but it wasn't okay for FSIL's MIL to go to hers. Should be interesting.

Anyway, all in all in steplife everything is pretty good. We think BM got a new boyfriend because she actually agreed to meet us to pick up FSS and had some druggy looking guy with her and was being super nice, plus she hasn't been calling or anything. We'll see how she reacts when she finds out we're having a baby.... HOpe everyone is well.
