Dreading holiday visit with my sister

I cant wait to get to see my sister for the holiday this weekend but I am also DREADING it. We will be there till Tuesday and I HATE the fact that SD8 has to go along! She whines and pouts ALL the time, cant do things for herself and STILL wets the bed every single night. Its SOO embarrassing going anywhere with her, especially if we have to spend the night. I always have to rearrange my plans if we have to spend the night somewhere and try to find a baby sitter for her. I am dreading being embarrassed because of her around my sister. Everytime she does something, I say to myself OMG...did she really do that and want to crawl into a hole in the wall and disappear for awhile. Do you think any of what she does embarrassed SD8?? HECK NO!!! It doesnt embarrass her one iota! How does everyone else handle traveling with a child that does the things my SD does??? HELP!!

Please take a plastic mattress cover so you don't ruin someone else's mattress.

Why does the kid have to be around you? Where is her father?

Way ahead of you there oldone. Every time we have to spend the night somewhere, I always carry one in her overnight bag. I forgot to pack one one time and I had to make an emergency run to Walmart!

Ugh, I feel for you. My SD11 is STILL wetting. I simply REFUSE to take her anywhere with us. If he feels the need to have her with him then I guess he will not be joining me when I visit my family. So far he hasn't fought me too hard on that, but we have a trip planned soon and as BM1 is no longer involved I wonder if he will try to find someone to care for her or insist on her coming.
