BM stopped paying CS because she is on welfare

BM decided to not work anymore ( she is 39 years old) and lives in a friends basement for free becasue she does not want to pay child support. she does not drive because her license was taken away after a DUI, so she doesnt care about the potential of DSHS taking her license away from her.
we dont know where she gets extra money from becasue if you do the numbers welfare cannot be more than $500 a month. if she gets a little job in a store , would the employer have to check if she owes CS? or can she be working without welfare OR DSHS knowing?

we thought that DSHS would go after the welfare money or do something but aparently once again she can do whatever the f**k she wants with no consecuences. after all the struggle and money and court times, and lawyers to set the CS. she paid for about 8-9 months tops and now nothing again...what can we do?.

Welcome to the club!

Just plan on life without CS. If she's on welfare, I don't think they'll take any of it. And she could probably get it modified to $25 a month.

I'm owed about $80K and life just marches on...

Pretend it's an amazing gift when it does show up and never actually expect it. My ex is behind as well and on unemployment so I get some from that. What the unemployment and cs enforcement don't know is he's got a job at a friends shop whos pretending she doesn't know he owes so yep he's getting money left and right while my kids get screwed. I'm just adjusting to it like it doesn't exist (after I called to report the fraud).

Yeah I wouldnt expect it. When my husband paid child support the child support office hounded him and hounded him for the months payment EVEN THOUGH he paid EVERY month!! Now that he is suppose to get the support for the SAME child they dont give a shit. BM was ordered 7 months ago to pay support and has not done so even one time. She is $1400.00 behind, hasn't paid one penny and she is getting food stamps and medicaid for her other kid..Also doesnt have a job...But of course can pay for satellite, phone, internet, drug and alcohol habit. She is worthless!
