Post Military Health Insurance Q.

So...if SD and SSIL are done with time in Military and getting out (SD's hubby was in, not her), and both are under 25...and SD could technically be insured by DH and SSIL could be technically insured by his mom, who insures the baby?

Just a dumb question...

Depends. Most states will cover children under a certain age if parents are dependents themselves or make under a certain amount of money.

The baby would likely be covered under whatever insurance his/her mother is covered.

How many generations does Obamacare want us to cover? I guess that is my real question. Wink I mean, where does it stop? If they were never insured would a person have to cover the grand kid for the next 25 years, and what about great grands? Sorry, but I am tired of insuring adult kids. I did not have insurence until I was like 27. It was a privilege, not an entitlement, and my parents did not support me way into my 20's. Just a vent.

Now I feel better so thanks for the listen. Smile
