So BM has made it so the two SSs (12 and 10) are too scared to even say hello to us when we go to sports.

I thought it might be best for them if I hid myself. fast forward a year and nope - bad BAD mistake.

Hiding away is killing my family. It has made me lonely and isolated and has led to me wanting to disengage and leave basically. .

So I came out of hiding a couple of weeks ago and started to go to sports

OMG....lol

DH can't see it but I can. She is going berserk.

1. Literally physically places herself between DH and me
2. Gets DH "involved" by giving him jobs so I sit on the sideline alone
3. Has started coming over almost every day to my house uninvited under the helpful cover of dropping stuff (which hasn't ever needed dropping in the past 2 years) - I am going to find her lurking on my doorstep one of these days
4. Came over last night while we were having dinner. SSs didn't go to see her so she called out to them. Her BF was there too. Can you imagine? I have a right to be here stuff. EXCUSE ME LADY - we are having dinner. It's our week. My house too....anyway.....
5. Today I find out that she has organised a family pool party for the kids in SSs class under the cover of making it look like a school thing.

What to do about the pool party? SS will probably want to go. Does DH take him? I don't THINK so. he thought that might be an option but no - we are not going to split the family up to please her any more. We thought maybe she could take him but nope - stop organising things for your kids that you know we can't go to because you are going to make it hell on earth for your children. If she is prepared to punish her family for that, not my problem sunshine. I am not going to isolate anyone in our family because you intimidate us. That includes me. Whether DH can see it or not.

So I sent her a text this morning as follows:

Hi BM. Thanks heaps for dropping stuff here over the past few days. Also thanks for organizing family pool party. I am replying to that invite. Are we allowed to bring our dog if we keep him on a leash? We would all like to come along (I have 3 of my own). Looking forward to Saturday night. Hope the weather stays fine. I also hope you will join us on our picnic mat. Thanks again. Me.

I sent a smiley face too.

Sent 5 hours ago. No answer. Guess she isn't being little Miss perfect Mother helpful angel after all.
