OT: Festive drinks for Christmas party
Anyone have any good recipes for festive drinks? I am hosting an adult Christmas party and am looking to make 1 or 2 festive drinks. I would also like to make them LOOK festive as well so any help in the garnish department is appreciated.
I usually drink Coors Light, Fireball, Tequila and occasionally wine so I'm pretty simple when it comes to drinks.
Thanks!

Oh it is....think Whole30 but more restrictive. No sugar, no nuts, no dairy, no flour, no gluten, no soy, no beef, no shellfish, no fruit, no juice/coffee/alcohol.
Yeah - it sucks, but in only two weeks, I feel so much better. Once I get my gut healed, I can begin to add some things back in.

I mix clear creme de menthe with creme de cacao with milk or cream... (about 1:1:3 or 1:1:4, rim the glass with crushed candy cane...
real easy.
Can also do it 1:1:1 into shots. Or without the milk/cream.
Or use the green creme de menthe and stick a candy cane in it.
Tastes like thin mint cookies.
Also - 2 parts fireball with 1 part eggnog. Delish.

Festive Drinks for me always
Festive Drinks for me always include champers! If you like tequila you can change up one of my favorite cocktails (French 76 - vodka and champagne) to a Mexican 75 (although I am kind of nervous recommending "Mexicans" to people in the US .
Ingredients
1/2 oz tequila of choice
1 teaspoon Agave nectar
1/3 oz lime juice
Champagne or Sparkling Dry White Wine
Lime twist for garnish
Instructions
In your champagne glass add the tequila and agave nectar. Stir to dissolve the agave nectar
Add in the lime juice and top off with champagne
Garnish with a lime twist and you're done!

If you have a crock pot of a hot beverage, why not have bottles of liquors/liqueurs that complement? That's what I do. However, I'm also serving up the hot drink and adding the booze because I always play bartender. That way, if someone wants an unspiked mug, it doesn't have to be made separately.
Examples:
Hot chocolate
* Peppermint schnapps
* Amaretto
* Tia Maria
* Cinnamon schnapps (or Fireball)
* Tequila
* ???
Mulled cider
* Fireball
* regular whiskey/bourbon
* Crantasia (cranberry schnapps)
* apple schnapps
* Frangelico
