1. I'm the youngest of 5. Both my parents had 5 siblings and wanted 6 children but mom couldn't have any more

2. I went to college to become a shrink but, after 2 years, realized I would not be able to disassociate from my patients (taking work home with me), so I dropped out.

3. I used to be bulimic. Now I'm just fat.

4. My mother and 3 of her siblings had Alzheimer's and I'm terrified I'll have it, too.

5. I was the family jock and played more sports than my 4 siblings combined.

6. Currently smoking the e-cig (non-nicotine juice and not inhaling) to keep from starting up again.

7. Didn't lose my virginity until I was 18 - and it was to the guy I'd been dating for 3 years (we lost ours together lol).

8. The only thing stopping me from making ex-Lax brownies for the skids is the fear that DH will eat some. Well, I don't want to get caught, either!

9. DH is the first man to give be the Big O. Before that, I always considered sex to be more like scratching an itch. I had NO idea!!

10. I once had a job that was so awful, I had vodka in my afternoon cranberry juice a few times. :O

11. Occasionally, I will intentionally pretend that I "don't get it" simply because I don't feel like dealing with the person trying to be punny.

12. I absolutely LOVE cooking and specialize in "minis" when we go to parties.

13. At age 30, I was in such good physical shape, I actually considered entering a body building competition.

14. I have a horrible phobia of ... frogs. It's worse than my arachnophobia.

15. I'm a professionally trained mixologist. IOW, I went to bartending school! I miss it like crazy.

1. I love the smell that hits me the minute I walk into my barn (mixture of horses, hay, manure, grain.. everything!)

2. I hate corn, the smell of it, the look of it... even saying the word "corn" grosses me out

3. I love Halloween (and all things Halloween.. scary movies, scary decorations, pumpkins etc)

4. I am terrified of spiders. Like I get physically ill if I see one within a 10 mile radius of me.

6. I wish I was a criminologist or a criminal profiler in a different life. I love trying to figure out why people do bad things.

7. I was voted "biggest flirt" in high school.

8. I cry over the stupidest things. (like SPCA commercials, watching BS5 sleep or play, hearing other children cry)

11. I am feeling like I am rather dull and boring right now, because I am having a difficult time coming up with 15 things about me.

14. I wish someone could invent a dome of sorts that would come out of the ground around your home and go up over your house to block out the rain or snow if you so choosed. Like, some snow for Christmas would be nice, I'll leave the dome down... but nope, don't need 12 more inches 2 weeks later, so I'll close my dome until this next storm passes. Got a picnic planned for Saturday.. rain in the forecast? I'll just close up my dome!

15. I have naturally curly hair and I hate it and straighten it almost every day.

1. I was born in Germany but came to the US when I was very young
2. I am an only child. My mom did have a miscarriage when I was a few years old.
3. I used to be a Veterinary Technician but now work in IT.
4. This is DH and my first/only marriage and we've been married almost 14 years now.
5. I seriously WAS on BC when I got pregnant in college. Didn't know about tetracycline.
6. My parents are still married and will be celebrating their 46th anniversary this summer.
7. DS's father bailed after I broke up with him to try to avoid paying CS.
8. My DS24 is an only child unless you count SD21 and SS20.
9. We own two properties outright and are possibly getting a third this weekend.
10. Almost every car I have ever had has been a very cheap one. I would say they were "last stop on the way to the junkyard" cars. Taught me a lot about fixing minor issues.
11. I used to get in fights a LOT..but only with guys because they wouldn't get me in trouble. }:)
12. Did get in a fight with a chick I didn't realize was supposedly the town bad ass. She got arrested for attempted murder shortly after our fight from a different altercation.
13. The only other female I ever got in a physical fight with was our next door neighbor. She started it on my doorstep. She was drunk and I was sober. She bled a lot.
14. An adjective people use to describe me a lot is: sweet. Anyone else think that is ironic??
15. I am a shopaholic but very frugal. This leads me to indulge my addiction at rummage sales and thrift stores.

I like this! Ok here goes…

#1 - I was a teen mom, first baby boy 3 days shy of my 16th bday and the 2nd son at 18, my 3rd (BS17 was at 28).

#2 - I dropped out of HS in the 9th grade, but took my GED at 18. Aced it with the highest score in a classroom of 45 people.

#3 - My father was gay. He died in the closet and it makes me feel horrible because I was an AWFUL daughter. I visited his grave in DR and told him I wish he had confided in me. I would have loved him anyway. I hope he forgave me for being such a devil child.

#4 - I have always been jealous of my younger brother because he has green eyes. My dad had blue eyes. As the oldest I felt those green eyes should have been mine. So God sent me a GB with green eyes instead.

#5 - I have been married 3x. Third time has been the charm, DH is the best husband I could have ever wished for.

#6 - I tune people out when they are talking to me. It's a really strange habit, I don't do it on purpose.

#7 - I am the best party planner. I have always been good at it and wish I worked for a huge Event Planning company so I could REALLY let my event Goddess free.

#8 - I once went to Mexico by myself for an entire week because my "friends" bailed on the trip. I met my DH when I returned.

#9 - I was in the chorus throughout my entire elementary and middle school years. I could sing my heart out and I loved it.

#10 - I was bullied my whole life for being freakishly tall, skinny, wearing coke bottle glasses, being flat chested and having buckteeth. It made me a very angry teenager.

#11 - I cry at commercials, songs, tv shows, pretty much anything. I come off as incredibly tough but I am actually incredibly sensitive.

#12 - I am terrified of change and am a creature of habit. Something that has become very detrimental because it has kept me in a job that I am miserable in for far too long.

#13 - I was a major pothead for MANY MANY years. I stopped smoking when BS17 became old enough to smell it & know what it was. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to tell him NO DRUGS, so I quit. Thru the years it also started making me paranoid so I just stopped.

#14 - I am an excellent cook and enjoy cooking for my friends and family.

#15 - I am a neat freak.

1) Kinda depressed that I can't think of 15 interesting things about myself!

2) I got a treadmill for Christmas that hasn't even been put together yet.

3) I used to be a really good skier but haven't done it in years and really miss it.

6) Although there are times I'd rather she not be around, I actually like SD 11.

7) I've had recurring tornado and tidal wave nightmares since I was little.

1. I have an MS in computer science.

2. I got C's in calculus in HS because I never studied. I got a final grade of 100 both semesters of grad school calculus and still never studied. Go figure.

3. I was a photojournalist for a couple years before getting into computers.

4. I used to have 4 cats, but what with one thing and another I now have 1 cat. Fortunately she is an extremely patient cat, as all of my kids love her and want to pet her always.

5. I have 3 kids, including 2 year old twins. I have never been so tired in my life.

6. When I was in high school, my best friend talked me into sleeping in a graveyard with her one night.

7. I am deathly afraid of spiders. I beat one to death with a 9 iron once.

8. I play golf. The LPGA has nothing to fear from me.

9. I like country music. Before kids, DH and I used to go line dancing sometimes.

10. I love to travel. I've been to most of the states, the Caribbean, Germany, England, and Austria. I want to go on safari in Africa one day.

11. I love a good debate. When I went to England, we went to Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park and I spent a good 20 minutes arguing with one of the soap box speakers about whether democracy is or is not working in America.

12. I quit smoking a few weeks ago. It kind of sucks.

13. I have an enzyme deficiency which messes with how I digest alcohol. The upshot of that is that sometimes a single sip can make me sick, so I drink very carefully and rarely. Wine is NOT my friend.

14. I'm a voracious reader. Pre-kids I read maybe 300 books a year. Now it's more like 100. During spring break in grad school, I read 19 novels in 7 days. (I was *starved* for anything that wasn't a text book!)

15. My parents made me take a speed-reading class in high school. God knows why. I wish books took me longer to read actually, they're over too fast.

1. I am a ocean baby - surfing, free diving, shelling, playing with hubby in the ocean - anything water related and I am in heaven

1. Tony the Tiger came to my house. We did NOT have Frosted Flakes. Thus, I did not receive a BMX bike that day. I still tear up when I go down the cereal aisle. Why, Wheaties, why?!

2. I was named after a stripper. My middle name came from the bottle of wine my grandmother drank when my mom went into labor. Guess it's better than my mother going with her original name choice for me - Nova Blue. The type and color of her first car. Yes, she was really going to do that.

No need to share any more facts...these two speak volumes about my life and most likely contributed to me descending into the depths of StepHell.

5 – i’m a “desk jocky” that can type 70 wpm, but not by choice; my first job choice for tech school was automechanics but my parents vetoed that
6 – beer, dairy, meat and carbs are my four food groups
7 – i hate to see myself in pictures
8 – i did not go to college even tho’ i graduated 15th in my class and was offered multiple scholarships
9 – i am the youngest child and middle child at the same time
10 – physical and personality traits skipped a generation – i came out just like my grandmother
11 – my favorite book is 1984. I also love Grisham, Clancy, and Crichton.
12 – i love food- eating and cooking.
13 – as white as I am, I do have native blood; but I am the only cousin out of 16 that has yet to get my tribal card.
14 – i have a whole chunk of my life that ceased to exist; those ‘memories’ are dead to me. my life stopped at one point, and started again a year or so before I met dh
15 – i crosstich freaking awesome when I put my mind to it, even the BACK is perfectly neat!

ETA on #8 - that is not something i'm proud of; had i actually done my homework and applied myself i could have ranked higher. and i'll always rsent not being allowed to go to college.
