WOO HOO!!!

Not only is it TGIF!!!, but I just found out that the skids are going out of town this weekend with AM!!! DYNOMITE!!! I love these weekends. I enjoy weekends when they are at AM's, but we never know when/if they are coming home, but when they all go out of town...it's certain that they won't be home until Sunday--if even then!!!! I am hoping that AM is picking them up from school since it's Friday (DH generally insists that skids come to our house after school to get homework done, but we do not make them do homework on Friday afternoon...we allow them to do it throughout the weekend).

DH and I are doing a "spring cleaning" type thing this weekend so that I can make sure the house is ready for my recovery time after surgery next Wednesday. I shouldn't be down too long (hysterectomy), but I don't want to look at a dirty house while I'm laying in bed or on the couch!!! My DD and I have appointments to get pedicures tomorrow and DH told me he is getting me a laptop (early Christmas present) to keep me from getting too bored!! And I plan on getting some dishes cooked and stored for us to eat off of. I am going to LOVE this weekend!!!

How wonderful for you! And perfect timing with all you've got going on this weekend. Isn't it wonderful when things just fall into place sometimes?

that is an awesome present...and a much needed one for your surgery...I had that in June and I was on my laptop all the time...hope you have a speedy recovery and ENJOY your free weekend! Smile

Good for you, enjoy it!!! Mine will be a mixed wknd~ My ex who never takes the kids on Friday called to say he would pick them up today-and they're spending the night at one of his friends/couples house (since he works Sat am)...WOOHOO!!! I get two full days to clean up, clean my car, drink and get stupid...I won't know what to do w/myself!

BUT...I called my kids to tell them as they are w/my mom right now-and my oldest started protesting and saying no, dont' want to go, want to go to my friends house...I don't like the kid from that house..blah blah. TOUGH...your dad never takes you his full visitation. The kid you do want to spend the night with hasn't called you back. So he'll just have to endure. That's why I figured I'd call him now to give him a few hours to get used to the idea lol-I'm sure he's going to raise hell anyway.

On the other hand my bf will have his daughter this wknd-typically we're on the same schedule but his ex had to 'swap' ...saying ok well i have two wknds then you have two then we're back to normal....stupid cow. She still brought the girl over one night/day on "her" weekend. Not to mention lately she's been dropping her off w/only a few min notice about 3-4 times a week to go run "errands" and sending her over to her dad with school projects and leaves her there for about 4hrs.

I swear this is one woman who fought for primary custody for the $...she always brings her over to my bf or his parents, or her parents, or friends houses . Weekends, weekdays, random times, she probably spends less then 20pct time w/her. Again, stupid cow.

I would like to spend one evening w/my brother/sil-it's my kids free wknd-I'm going to see the girls game tomorrow already. But not really in the mood to have ANY kids aroudn the entire wknd -Yep..that's me...pms psychotic woman needing a totally kids free weekend...yes even from my own Smile
