UGH
My first day to really spend a lot of time with SS since he has been here was Saturday. It was awful. I mean just so annoying that I wanted to puke. Things that happen to annoy me....
1) Talks about his "mama" at every turn.
2) Talks about how dumb DH is. In a joking way but still annoying.
3) Talks about how he did not like his flight because he forgot to wear his uniform on the plane like he normally does and no one noticed him. So he had to tell people he was in the service. He said he will never fly again unless he is in uniform.
4) Was 3 hours late for something we were doing and did not even say he was sorry. Just acted like it should be no big deal since he is on vacation from the service.
5) Never shuts up about himself, BM or how great he is because he is in the service.
And the BIG one...
DH seems to have a need to act like a stupid disgusting pig in front of SS. Why does he do this? He turns into a TOTALLY different person. It is like he wants to prove to SS that he is stupid and gross. Like a 10 year old boy.

Sounds like SS is in love
Sounds like SS is in love with himself. Wants a good medal for being the service...not like he was drafted. PLEASE!

My DS23 has been in the military since 17 y/o and he did it because he raised in a patriotic home and desires to serve his country and defend it with honor, he loves the discipline and the job he has, it's a challenge. My DD21 is currently deployed on her 1st tour of combat duty in Afghanistan and she joined the military for the same reason her brother does. Neither one is big on video games and I assure they don't "expect" anyone to notice them for being in the military, but they are truly hubmled and honored when someone does. Please don't judge all youth by Willow's SS, my son and daughter are sickened by fellow soldiers who act like he does.
Your SS has no Honor or
Your SS has no Honor or Integrity, and does not understand Selfless Service. He needs to have the Army Values shoved down his throat. His behavior shows he only joined the military for the attention of it. If he was in my platoon (and others in the service can see blue falcons like this from a mile away) I would have him doing so much extra duty he would never want to put his uniform on unless he had no other choice.

Extra duty in the sand bowl }:) Can we say filling sand bags for 10 months straight.

I wish he was in a branch of military that actually worked like that.
He was deployed once so far and it was a gravy deployment for him. He got to see many great places in the world and never got close to any hot areas. (and I doubt he ever will). He went in this branch so he could almost be guaranteed to not see any action.
Now that he is back in the states...he works about 7 hours a day and then farts off the rest of the time. He told DH that he could get a part time job since he really does not have much to do.
I am sorry, but the branch that he is in, is very lax. (I also know this from a few other people that were in this branch)
Jux...it is SOOOO
Jux...it is SOOOO unattractive!!!!

This sounds excruciating. #3 is just revolting. What an obnoxious attention whore. It's bad enough to think that way, but you have to have absolutely no self awareness, or sense of propriety to say that out loud.
