UPDATE:  ***Just rented out the unit to a 30 something out of state professional who works remotely.  In NYS, you aren't allowed to say "no Section 8" but every S8 applicant I've had failed the previous landlord reference requirement--seems they've all been terrible tenants in the past. 

Yep, dodged a bullet but then again in areas where there are a lot of "tenant protections" we screen to DISqualify NOT to qualify.  You look for reasons to reject an applicant NOT to get the place rented as quickly as possible.  Had been advertising since mid March with approx 104 unacceptable inquirers.  Like fishing for a Marlin in a backyard puddle. ***

Just had a cancellation from an applicant for one of my vacant apartments.  She's a BM from Girhippoville and is on Section 8 .   Basically told me that the town my rental is in is not good enough for her and her kids! 

This town had a low rent reputation in the past but I am renting to several what used to be called yuppies Aka young professionals.  That's fine with me because I have a young professional from Texas that has applied!

Maybe suggest she move to California and bunk with Toxic Troll and Powersulk in the beach apt. They can fk up a nice place together.

We had the unicorn tennants in our home for nearly 10 years.  When they moved out you could not tell anyone had lived there.   The only thing is they never replaced a light bulb the whole time they lived there.

We sold the house within a few days of them moving out.  They moved in while their kids were in HS and they were selling their very high end home.  It ended up being the perfect situation for them and for us. We were overseas and our home was well cared for while we were adventuring.

Good riddance to the breeder princes who can't support herself much less her spawn.  Funny how the dole minions are so picky and have such high standards that they rely on others to support them then bitch about their high standards not being met.

The entitlement is off the charts. Seriously?? Someone else is paying for your living arrangements and you're being picky?? Go pay for it yourself then! SMDH.

Is not good enough for them.  Then good let them find someplace better.  We all want everyone to be happy.  You will get a much better tenant.

Yeppers. Entitlement. Getting a 2 bedroom place for less than market isnt good enough, she needs a BETTER PLACE. Shes been taking classes then.

Thats why I resent TT so much. Id love to live in Beach Town, but Beach Town starter homes are now 700k, and they are building like crazy new places and those start at 1.2 million. 

You def dodged a bullet. Causing a problem now = problems in the future.
