StepDad BigBucks Calls SD (stb 16) on Driver's Law Violation--Check out SD's reaction and MORE!
SD posted that she and four teenage friends piled into a car to go to a pizza joint; the driver of the car had a "junior license" and was under the age of 18.
Stepdad posted: I only posted this as a reminder that NYS law says no more than three teens can be in a car at the same time. One teen driver, one teen related to the driver, and one unrelated to the driver.
SD posts back: Cause people totally follow this law.
Stepdad: The law is the law. If you don't follow it you are committing a crime.
NO "likes" from the BM, no defense of Stepdad WHAT-SO-EVER
*crickets*
Now I WILL say that back in the day, kids were driving at age 16, but it seems that many of today's teens have been babied (particularly CODs) and are at the very least, 4 to 5 years younger maturity wise.

BM should have had stepdads
BM should have had stepdads back. She also should have realized how horrible of a person she is raising to post and brag about breaking a law, doesn't matter if others don't follow it or if it seems dumb to some people. The law is the law.
I honestly don't know how
I honestly don't know how StepDaddy BigBucks does it!! He must be on massive tranquilizers!! OSS did move out so I guess he figures one down, two to go.
SD actually looks GREAT in orange!!
BM has always been: "my kids, right or wrong."
Another example of the Step
Another example of the Step Parent being the only REAL parent in the equation for many kids.
And how! I tried to be a
And how! I tried to be a guiding influence initially but was INSTANTLY "put in my place" by Chef and the BM.
It should be noted that the
It should be noted that the OTHER teens were somewhat contrite and tried to find something in the law where they COULD all be piled into the car
SD's response was basically "up yours"
I will say where we live the
I will say where we live the law is strictly enforced and my kids knew better than to try this. Shame on all the adults in her life for not calling her out on this and bragging about it. I am amazed at the crap these kids will post on social media.
Sounds like something my
Sounds like something my skids would have posted when they were still coming to entitlement lessons, errr I mean "visitation."
I remember being that naive ~
I remember being that naive ~ just didn't have social media as my platform. Kids just don't think it's bad to blast on social media. I think their selfish ways justify posting things.
I took the Mark Twains approach :
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
I also have a faux "teen"
I also have a faux "teen" account! My real account has blocked all of the BM's clan and most of Chef's clan.
I love that law !!! Love how
I love that law !!!
Love how parents/kids like to a la carte the laws ~ it's not their job to make the laws ~ but sure as hell is their job to obey the laws.
If that girl were my kid ~ hey can I see your keys ~ thanks your not seeing these keys for a very long time. If you can't obey the law ~ you don't deserve keys ~ driving is a privledge and nothing less.
If a teen gets a ticket who
If a teen gets a ticket who gets to pay it? thats right the parents....good for him.
"I think it was from BM
"I think it was from BM brainwashing them into thinking they aren't capable so they will never leave her."
UGH! BM did that here too, especially with MSD. MSD got pregnant at 19, and BM figured MSD would now live with her forever because "she can't take care of the baby". MSD moved out though, and moved in with her BF. Now BF is reaping what BM sowed, since MSD expects HIM to take care of her (and their child). *eye roll* He's a decent guy from what I see, so we'll see how long he puts up with this shit.
I told Chef a couple of years
I told Chef a couple of years ago that he'd be a grandpappy before he turned 48. He whipped his head around, giving me a nasty look "what are you? Nostradomus??!"
Well it looks like that will come true. SD (will be 16 in November) has received a promise ring from her 19 year old boyfriend who works at Burger King and they've been going hot and heavy for the last nine months.
Oh and the BM is ok with this. SD is not responsible enough to wipe after she lays a rope, never mind taking any sort of birth control on a regular basis. She'd have to get the shot or something like that. From the reaction of the BM when it was discovered that OSS was smoking pot like no tomorrow, I'm pretty sure SD isn't on birth control. "WhaaaaaaatttTTTT, NOT MYYYYYY KID--How VERY DARE YOU IMPLICATE MY ANNNNGGGEEEELLLLS!!"
