I wish! These kids WERE not dumb. They are actually quite clever and sharp as a tack. Problem is that neither parents, in particular, the Girhippo, set any standards or goals for them.

The Girhippo had everything handed to her in life. She was PASed out against HER father by her BM, Battleaxe Gallactica. When she got into trouble, namely stealing traffic signs, locked out of her car in the middle of nowhere during drunken sorority parties, got caught plagiarizing her college work, Battleaxe Gallactica AND to a lesser extent, Chef, bailed her out.

She's always been the speshul princess, doesn't know how to parent to save her life, has never said "no" to the skids, yet she is a supervisor in Child Protective/Foster Care!!!! Talk about the cobbler's son going shoeless.

She has taught and is still teaching her kids that life is a bowl of cherries and you just need to steal other people's pickin's.

There is ZERO chance any of these skids will go into the military. They have ZERO self-discipline and ZERO respect for authority--and why would they? The Gir lets them get away with everything.

Also today's military is VERY selective as regards grades, schooling, and criminal record. They don't just take anyone anymore. In the past, you could be assured that a high school graduate with average grades had at least some fundamental knowledge. Not today.

I see more and more that the young men and women coming out with a 4 year degree have general knowledge equivalent to what was taught in the sixties at an 8th grade level at best.

My only hope is that Dom gets married off before she's 21. If she did enroll in community college, she would flunk out semester after semester after semester.
