Moving Forward
Good morning,
Well, I am trying to get some perspective on things as I was trying last night to basically assess all the events going on figure out what I would be doing for the next few months. Since we've moved here into this rural area, we are an hour from the city and I haven't found any decent work that pays comparable wages to what I made before we moved from MD. Then, I was sick with pneumonia for two months. Then, my dog Tony died. Then, we got a five year old rescue and a puppy. And then, the puppy broke his leg. Now, the puppy is confined to his crate because of the healing time for about two more months. Which brings us to about the beginning of the summer. It does make money tighter with having to pay the support but next May will be the last payment. And I am hoping that once I can get the puppy on a schedule when he is back home, I can purchased the online real estate course and start studying that and in two months finish it, take the test and pass the state exam. I think that switching and expanding on my accounting career would definitely be a plus for me, especially in this rural area. Working from home would definitely be a real help.
I don't know what some of you are doing for jobs as I see you on line writing on blogs during different times during the day. I like gardening outside but haven't been able to figure a way to be able to take Bullet outside because of his leg. I was actually thinking of trying to get an old baby carriage--maybe that's crazy. But at least's he'd be mobile. He's getting heavy--31 lbs at 17 weeks and very leggy for a baby greyhound. Murphy, our five year old rescue greyhound, is really starting to come out of his shell now, and is a real crackerjack. He started pulling on my coat sleeves to play last weekend and has started doing the same to my husband now, which startled him last night. Murphy and Bullet are usually having the battle of the bones--Murphy being the collector, usually most of the time.
It isn't bad here, just a completely different way of life and it takes getting used to. No one is ever in a hurry, so if you are, then you're in the wrong place.
I had the pool filter valve repaired yesterday and that came out okay, even with using the Home Owners Warranty Program that we purchased with the house in December 2005. I wasn't sure if that was going to go off without a hitch. But it sorted itself out in the end.
Hope everyone else is having a good week. For some reason my Mom thinks I sent her a basket of flowers which I don't even recall doing so now I have to go back and check my bank records. Can't even remember doing it.
Will write again later this week. Regards, Sweetie
