Vent as BM about Stepdad (DH)!!
ARGH!!!
I understand stepparenting is difficult. I've done it 20+ years. He's done it about 5...
DH walks in and asks me a question, and blammo....there's DD interrupting asking a question.
I call her out, tell her she's being rude, and needs to wait a minute.
DH turns on his heel and storms off...panties allll in a twist.
WTF?
How should I have handled that?
I feel like he reacted as though I'd engaged DD in conversation. It's SOOO frustrating!!

SIGH.
I don't think I even have the energy to type it all out. I just am so... drained. This whole step life, previously enjoyed life, pain in the ass adult kids, crazy ass exes life is exhausting.
It feels like everything has to be an uphill battle.
Well, doesnt' HAVE to be, but is.

On the topic of CS...
Given the varied responses I'm reading, I have a question from the flip side.
Background: Many, MANY posters are saying the CS covers everything, dad shouldn't buy/pay for things outside of CS, etc. The idea is that he has paid "his part" of child's expenses.
I'll define child as "under 18/still in HS" since a good portion of CS orders end there.
The idea is that BM has to pay for said expenses out of CS or out of her own pocket.

Why, why, WHY did I marry a man with kids TWICE?!?
Grr. I am so frustrated!!
I love my DH, I really do. I married young to a divorced man with a child. I spent 15 years dealing with the crazy BM and drama and pains in the asses it brought!!!!
Now????
I am SO fucking irritated!!! WHY does BM get everything she wants, INCLUDING my fucking money?!?!?!
