Today I went in for my 39 week check up and the doctor was surprised at how dilated I am and how much I've progressed in a week. She said she'd be surprised if I last through the weekend!! Hooray our little boy is coming!
So FDH texts BM to remind her to be on extra-alert for the next two nights as the dr said it could be soon (which duh, I'm 39 weeks...but you know, he just wanted to make sure she's not going out getting trashed the next two nights while we have the skids).
BM's response:
"Ok well as long as I don't get a call during my date tonight lol"
*Rolling eyes*
Her attempts to make FDH/us jealous really are laughable. We already know she's a whore, she doesn't have to remind us!

Yup -- sometimes I write "DF" for dear fiance but seems like most people here use FDH instead so I've started using that

As for BM, have alternate arrangements set up for the Skids or just take them with you to the delivery room until it is time to push. You will have to have someone there to hang with teh kids in the waiting room once the push starts.
Being in the delivery room while their newest bro is on his way may be a good family bonding thing.
I know that it was for my SIL and I. I was in with my brother, SIL and the grandma's for all of my bro's kids up until the pushing started. My SIL's sister was not. There is still some contention between SIL and her sis over this.
I on the other hand, am an awesome BIL. Just ask my SIL.
