I really appreciate all of the responses that I read yesterday regarding SD21's letter to DH. It's nice to know that I have a place I can go to for help and support during a dark time in my marriage. I felt much better after reading the different points of view, and they ALL made sense. I still don't know which direction I will take, but it's good to know that I have options open to me and my kids, and that I'm not alone.

I wish you well in this!!! I know already I will be facing the same sort of circumstance as my SD grows up. Its really a shame that they are so selfish that they will stop at nothing. Even to the point of destroying their Bioparents happiness.
Keep the love close and dear in your heart that you and DH share that is what will get you through.

I commend and respect the way you handled the letter and I know how hurtful SDs actions can be. My SD (26 & lives with us) told me during a family meeting that she felt she didn't have private time with her dad because when ever they would have a conversation, I would appear and ask "what's going on?" It hurt my feelings tremendously to know she felt that way.
