My MIL seriously ask my DH to leave me with the kids and go visit her alone for thanksgiving. DH handled it amazing and told her he has a family and will spend holidays with us. To me it is just ridiculous that she would ever ask this.

That is some audacity. It would be one thing to fish for an invite... but to suggest he leave his family to visit her... ALONE????

She has always been nice and claims to like me. Before me he used to visit them a lot but since then has change jobs (a lot) and hasn't had any paid time off or the money to visit them. I am pissed at her for asking and him for trying to keep it from me that she asked.
