BM has the kids this spring break. She got them for her regular Thursday and then when they got out of school Friday and they don't return to us until they get out of school a week from Monday.

Since Thursday evening, I have been cleaning my house. I'm so excited to clean it and have it stay clean for an entire week.

DH and I are going to be total bums after that. Doing what we want, when we want walking around in our underwear if we want, having ice cream for dinner, getting the playstation all to ourselves. It's like an awesome stay-cation!!! Next weekend, we're going to the major St. Paddy's day parade next Saturday with friends and get to be carefree adults for a bit.

What a much needed break!

The only drawback, BM took the kids out of state. This a first since we've had custody and part of me worries that she won't bring them back. I'm 99% certain she will because her daddy funds her life here (bought her house and pays the bills she can't) and he won't fund her to do anything illegal. That's my only consolation. It's pointless to worry about it now. I'll start worrying if they don't get off the bus where they're supposed to next Monday.
