Dreading thursday......
Thursday is when we pick the SDs up from their month long visit from BM. 1) I am Glad that the SDs will be back in a stable environment don't get me wrong there. What I am dreading is having to re-train them. We have two weeks before school starts. That's two long weeks that DH and I have to break the SDs from eating out ALL the time. Get them back on a NORMAL sleep schedule (BM keeps them up ALL night to accommodate her and so they don't "bother her" not that she can hear them anyway) get SD7 broke of the "carry me", "I CAN'T" and "baby me" bs. Break SD11 of the "I can do whatever I want to because BM doesn't care anyway" and not to mention within three days of being back SD7 WILL (happens EVERY time) have a wake up screaming nightmare or two. And not to mention breaking SD11 of the lying BS again because "BM does it ALL the time so it's ok" crapola. *sigh* and I SO enjoyed my alone time! And now taking bets on how long after they get home before SD11 has a complete meltdown hissy fit. Any takers? Oh and not to mention Breaking SD11 from being up my arse once they get home because BM has ignored her the entire time and made EVERYTHING about SD7.

I completely understand this.
I completely understand this. My D day is Wed. We go through the same thing, in addition, SS7s reattachment to BMs teat is back - we have to wean him off her. He sleeps with his mom, we have the kids 50-50 but during vacation, he sleeps with her full time - breaking that is a bitch.
She feeds him juice - constant juice - it fills him up, keeps him high on sugar and its sweet - weaning the juice is always hard.
I am dreading wed.
I understand the juice thing.
I understand the juice thing. Last time BM had the SDs it was nothing but soda. Granted the SDs DO get soda here ONCE in a while. With BM it's ALL the time. SD11 started to get a bottle of water at the drop off point and BM threw a fit and told her "NO WATER you get soda or nothing to drink" DH flipped and told BM that I'd SD11 wanted water to let her have it. BM got mad and just left. So on top of everything else we will be dealing with the kids having headaches from caffeine withdrawl
