SS18 Refused to Spend Christmas With Us - DH squarely blaming me - Whatever!
Another X-mas has come and gone and of course there's the usual carnage that comes along with it.
My three daughters and DH opened gifts together and of course SS18 was with his grandparents.
My DH then had to leave to go spend the day with his down there. I cannot wait for this kid to graduate and MOVE permanently down there.
DH told me he didn't want to spend xmas with us because we all make him uncomfortable. REALLY? Victim? Please.
Oh the things that happen when you disengage!
So, I've been practicing keeping my mouth shut and letting DH handle parenting with SS17. I've been doing pretty good at it now for about a year. Here's the result:
SS is going on his 3rd week of going to the dentist because he has so many cavities they can't fill them all in one or two appointments.
SS failed 2 classes and at some point will need to make them up.
SS didn't have a job this summer even though I was told while he was away at his grandparents he would be working his little heart out!
