BM took off with the kids !!!
She is allotted a minimum of one 24hr visit a week as per CAS, so she was to have the kids from 5pm Sunday to 5pm Monday. When I dropped the kids off I told her its important she's on time because we have to leave the house by 6:45 to go view a house at 7. She says she planned on dropping them off at 4:30 anyway because she had to be somewhere at 5:30 (she lives across town and has no vehicle). So 5 rolls around, 5:30 rolls around... And finally it's 6:45 and we HAVE to leave because we need to be on time we really want this house so we left. We get home by 7:30 and still no word from BM. BF had been calling her since 4:30 with no answer so we had no choice but to wait. Finally she calls us at 8:30pm and this is how it went...
BM: Uhhh hello?!?!?
BF: ... Uhh hello?
BM: uh hello yourself! Where are you?
BF: At home where the fuck are you?
BM: I was at your house at 6:45 banging on the door and no one was there!
BF: yeah? And what time were you supposed to be here?
BM: um 6:45 !! Obviously !!
BF: No, not 6:45. Hurry up and bring the kids home SS2's bedtime was half an hour ago.
BM: fuck you!!! *hangs up*
And then she just never brought the kids home. We called her back at the number she dialed from But no one answered. And here we are at 12am the next day and no word from BM, SS2 was not taken to daycare and SS9 was not taken to school. Fucking ridiculous! I told BF he should call the cops but technically BM has custody of the kids it's just CAS setting guidelines based on our case. Which is an entirely different rant since we've been trying to get ahold f our caseworker for 3 weeks now... Ever since BM informed us since she passed her 6 weeks of drug testing she's got custody back. But no word from them. Ugh.
We think BM is just trying to prove a point with some sort of control issues she seems to be having. Becuse she's already told us she doesn't want the kids full time since she's only renting 1 bedroom of a house and working part time at Tim Horton's. So we'll see what happens but it's so infuriating.

I'd call your lawyer for
I'd call your lawyer for advice. This sounds extremely shady. If you don't have a lawyer, you may want to call the cops after all and just make a report. I'd also document the hell out of this situation because you will probably need it later in court.
I would make a report
I would make a report regardless. This is not in the best interest of the kids, especially given her history. I pray the kids are ok, and not traumatized by her actions, or anything she might be telling them.
Thats our main worry... I
Thats our main worry... I opened my big mouth last night and said "I bet she knew exactly what she was doing, came when she knew we'd be gone and threw a scene telling the kids 'well looks like Daddy an Sammmx don't want you tonight, that's okay, you can stay with mommy. Mommy loves you' " and BF started crying. I felt so bad but I wouldn't put it past her. She suddenly thinks she's super mom and wants them full time? We had discussed 50/50 one week on, one week off but never actually came to a conclusion... No clue what the hell is going on. It's so frustrating.
Sammmx. You need to call CAS
Sammmx. You need to call CAS immediately and inform them of what is going on. Call the intake department if you cannot get ahold of the worker. If CAS has set this up that BM is not to have the kids for more than 24 hours then they over rule the police and they themselves will call police to find her. You must call CAS right away. My DH works for CAS so I know they will take this seriously and be out looking for her. They will send another worker if they have to if the current worker is not available.
I bet BF isn't going to be so
I bet BF isn't going to be so accommodating with her anymore. She's psycho.
I would go over the CAS
I would go over the CAS workers head and call someone else or just do another report. Make note that the children didn't go to daycare or school. That proves Bm didn't have their best interest at heart. From now on I would not tell her of your plans. I would just stay firm with the arragned time. I wonder if you could file a missing person report?
