EWWW!!! that is gross

So my sd sent me to my other sd room to check her dresser cuz it stinks. I found underware that had not been washed since who knows when... and a used pad.. nasty!!!!! this is not the first time i found dirty underware in her drawer. I tell dh and he says for me to talk to her about it. I talked to bio mom who btw thinks she is better than everyone. She says yes she is gross at her house also but she is sure that she finds it way b4 I do and she has her clean it. Well i dont make it normal practice to dig through her drawers.

CHRISTMAS IS ON THE WAY!!!

So I was curious about what other people with bio-chilren and step-children do as far as christmas gifts go. I have always spent the same on all the kids in the past. But I feel that our bio-children get somewhat cheated. My husband even verbalized it himself last year. I have a 15 and 16 yearold step daughters from different moms. One lives with us one doesn't. So the one that lives with us- her mom bought her a small flat screen tv and other items. The other one that doesn't live with us got a laptop and everythign else under the sun.

HOW COME YOU ARE ALWAYS SUPPOSED TO TREAT STEP CHILREN LIKE YOUR OWN BUT ONLY AS MUCH AS THE EX WANTS YOU TO

Please help! I need advise from other step parents. Here is quickest version I can give. My dh and i have been married for 12 years. I have been in my step daughters life since she was 3 she is now 15. She is starting to want to do other things and stay with her mother more. Which we understand. My children who are her 1/2 brother and sisters miss her dearly. We ask her if she is coming for the weekend after she has missed 2 already. Her mother and her tell us NO. There is no asking jsut a flat no, i am not comeing.
