Working late this week

I can't complain, because at least I do have a job again through June. But when I realized yesterday that, because of my work schedule, it's going to be very difficult for me to get home in time to say good-night to SS's it made me so sad.

I am usually the one who hangs around and straightens up and chats for a few minutes after work ... not tonight ... I rushed to the car and got home just a few minutes after bed-time. They heard me pull in the driveway and were waiting at the front door for me, all excited to tell me about their days at school. Boy, oh, boy do I love those little guys (and their dad is pretty great too ... dinner waiting for me when I finished tucking them in.)

It's not all good stuff. It's not always this awesome. But boy, the good times really do make up for the rough ones!

Wait for it ... see what I'm saying in two weeks when it's SS4's 5th birthday ... somehow it tends to go south once BM is involved.

But today ... it's AWESOME!!!!!

ohhh thats really sweet, i really hope i can get to a point with my skids to feel like that be really nice, your very lucky

I know that I am lucky. Last night it was easy to remember, today, it's a little harder.

Oh, well, without ups and downs life would be kind of boring!
