Curiouser and curiouser
MIL called BM's parents' house today to try to get a hold of SS and wish him a happy birthday. BM's father told her that he didn't know what was going on with BM but he was worried about her. He said that they would go weeks at a time now without seeing her, and usually when they did it was when BM's mother walked to BM's house to check on her. BM never goes to their house, and they never see her coming or going from her house (they live next door). BM's father said that they only see SS about once every week or so now, when he used to be at their house every day. BM used to also go there every day or two as well to eat because she does not keep food or clean dishes in her own home. I'm really starting to worry about what's going on at BM's house. I would hate to be cooped up in that house with her all summer like SS has been. I can't imagine how bored he is and how cheated out of his summer he must feel. And what are they doing all day every day? I can spend one or two days at home and be OK, but weeks? And what are they eating? I'm starting to get really worried.

Call the police.
If you can't get ahold of her or SS and if her own parents who live next door haven't seen her in 48 hours, call the police and ask them to do a welfare check on SS. They WILL enter the home, either at her invitation or by force, and they WILL document all the stuff you've been trying to get CPS to document.
